The NEXTGEN Scholarship Program supports motivated students who are committed to studying a mining-related discipline and are seeking real-world industry exposure alongside their education.

This scholarship provides financial support, hands-on experience, and mentoring, helping students build a strong foundation for a future career in mining.

What does the Scholarship Offer?

Successful applicants will receive:

• $10,000 per year in financial support (paid bi-annually)
• Paid vacation work opportunities during university breaks
• Mentoring and guidance from experienced industry professionals
• Practical, hands-on exposure to a real working environment

Who can apply?

We encourage applications from students who:

• Have a genuine interest in pursuing a career in the mining industry
• Be currently studying, or intending to study, a mining-related tertiary qualification
• Demonstrate motivation, commitment to learning, and strong work ethic
• Align with our values of respect, commitment, agility and unity.

Relevant fields of study may include (but are not limited to):
Mining, Mechanical, Electrical, or Geotechnical Engineering; Geology; Environmental Science; Surveying; Automation/Technology; other disciplines that support mining operations.
